Enrolling

Enrollments can be done on-line or through the mail.

We will send you an acknowledgment that the application has been received, review the application for correct information, and follow-up with the insurance company that the enrollment process has been completed.

There are 5 possible outcomes

• STANDARD underwriting offers:
  Your policy was approved at the price quoted with no waivers or restrictions other than those allowed by statute (e.g. pre-existing condition waiver).
  
  
• COUNTER underwriting offers:
  Your policy was issued at a higher price than the original quote and may have additional waivers and/or restrictions. You'll be contacted prior to the policy being issued so you can review the offer.
  
  
• REQUESTS for medical records, labs or exams:
  You will be contacted.
  
  
• POSTPONED underwriting review:
  This action is usually taken by the insurance carrier when it is unable to obtain needed information in a timely manner. Your application will not be acted upon until the requested information is received.
  
  
• DECLINED underwriting notifications:
  You'll be contacted and we will offer advice.

On a claim problem, please provide us with as much information as possible. This would include an Explanation of Benefits from the insurance company, and a doctor or hospital bill.
